Following WWE WrestleMania XL and the Draft, there have been some changes in the booking of certain stars as the company enters a new era, including the NXT brand.
WWE recently sent Mia Yim, aka Michin, back to NXT, where she was a regular player. While in NXT, she continues to work main roster shows as a member of The O.C. However, she has not fared well in television matches.
Michin’s NXT return coincides with WWE’s announcement that 12 women will compete in qualifying matches on NXT TV, with the qualifiers advancing to a ladder match at NXT Battleground on Sunday, June 9, from Las Vegas at the UFC Apex facility to crown the inaugural Women’s North American Champion.
Machine worked Tuesday’s NXT episode, defeating Arianna Grace to advance to the championship ladder match. As a result, it brought an end to her television singles match losing streak, which had lasted over a year, dating back to January 2023, when she defeated IIYO SKY on Raw.
According to Cagematch.net, she went 18-13 in 2023 and has a 6-8 record for 2024. She went 4-11 on TV in 2023, and is 1-6 this year.
