WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS – FEBRUARY 14, 2025
“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” narrated by Paul “Triple H” Levesque kicks things off as always. We then shoot inside the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. where we see arrival shots of Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and others scheduled for action tonight.
Vic Joseph Fills In For Joe Tessitore Tonight
Wade Barrett is the voice heard doing the intro narration for the live arrival shots of various Superstars, and then when the show settles inside the host arena, the camera shot settles at ringside to show Vic Joseph from WWE NXT seated alongside Barrett on the call for tonight’s show.
They mention that usual blue brand play-by-play announcer is out on assignment tonight at a boxing event, and that Joseph will be filling in for him this week.
Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre & Jacob Fatu Kick Off This Week’s Show
We then hear the familiar sounds of the entrance theme for Cody Rhodes. Out comes “The American Nightmare” to the ring to kick off this week’s show. The Undisputed WWE Champion, as always, asks the crowd what they want to talk about. He mentions some names like Logan Paul, CM Punk, John Cena and Solo Sikoa as some topic-options.
Cody says he doesn’t think the Samoan Spike from Solo was meant for him last week. On that note, we hear the infamous sword-slice and out comes “The Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre to join Cody in the ring in tonight’s opening segment.
McIntyre is upset Rhodes only mentioned him quickly. Rhodes says he’ll do it again, and this time puts more emphasis on his name. McIntyre starts rattling off his accolades, and brings up how Cody hasn’t been fair to McIntyre and that he’s made things personal now.
He tells Rhodes he has to remind him who Drew McIntyre is. Rhodes says he can count on one hand the men who have beaten him since he’s returned and McIntyre is one of them and he hasn’t forgotten that. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga make their way to the ring.
Fatu says he’s all gas and no brakes tonight and he’s going to dog walk both Damian Priest and Braun Strowman tonight and will earn his way to the Chamber and then to WrestleMania. He says he’s bringing that title back to his family where it belongs. McIntyre says it seems like everyone wants to see a Psychopath and Werewolf go at it.
He then says he’s already got his spot so he’ll leave Rhodes to handle this. Rhodes tells Fatu when he wins the Elimination Chamber then they can battle over the title. We see Solo Sikoa arriving backstage and Fatu says he will talk to Sikoa first and Rhodes tells him he can get the first word, as he will get the last. Fatu and Tonga leave to confront Sikoa.
Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Naomi vs. Chelsea Green
We see Naomi and Bianca Belair walking and talking backstage, and then the show heads into the first commercial break of the evening. When the show returns, we see Tama Tonga asking a production member where Solo Sikoa is. He doesn’t know. He walks off, but Jacob Fatu appears out of nowhere and runs through the production member.
Back inside the arena, Belair and Naomi have settled inside the ring. Before anything else, however, Wade Barrett is standing by at ringside with WWE Hall of Fame legend Trish Stratus. He asks for her thoughts on the Elimination Chamber coming to her town of Toronto, and if we can expect an appearance from her.
Stratus says she’s excited about it and yes, because it’s in her hometown, she’ll be there. She says the only question is in what capacity. Chelsea Green’s theme then hits to interrupt her and out comes the WWE Women’s United States Champion with her secret her-vice — Piper Niven.
It’s time for the first match of the evening, which is a Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match. The bell sounds and they charge at each other, with Naomi surprising her with a roll-up attempt. Green kicks out. Green ends up taking over on offense and as things spill out to the floor, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.
When the show returns, Green is still in control of the offense. This doesn’t last for long, however, as Naomi starts to fight from underneath back into competitive form. Ultimately, she takes over and finishes the Women’s U.S. Champion off for the victory. With the win, she fills one of the last two spots in the Women’s Chamber.
Winner and QUALIFYING for Women’s Elimination Chamber: Naomi
Sami Zayn Checks In With Special Video Update
Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett talk on-camera about the package piledriver that Kevin Owens hit Sami Zayn with. They send it to Zayn, who addressed his status in a new video shared via his X account on Friday evening.
The WWE Superstar noted that it’s a running joke at this point how often Kevin Owens has gone from being his best friend to his biggest enemy who attacks him out of nowhere. He says this time it was different, and they both know that. He says Owens legitimately tried to end his career with the package piledriver.
He says he checked on Owens at Royal Rumble, but that wasn’t the help Kevin wanted. He says he doesn’t know when he’ll be cleared, but when he is, he and Kevin will meet again — and this time it won’t be fun.
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Los Garza
After the Zayn video wraps up, we return inside Capital One Arena, where the Motor City Machine Guns duo of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin make their way out and head to the ring for the second match of the evening.
As they settle inside the squared circle for scheduled tag-team action, Vic Joseph sends things to a quick pre-match commercial break. When the show returns, Los Garza settle in the ring as well and the bell sounds to get things started.
Sabin and Angel start the bout. Sabin gets Angel down and tags Shelley and they double team Los Garza. Garza super kicks Sabin and beat down Shelley. On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.
When the show returns, we see Angel clobber Shelley and taunt him to tag Sabin. Shelley superkicks Garza and Sabin and Berto are tagged in. Sabin rolls up Berto for a two count and then kicks Berto in the head. Shelley is tagged in and Berto is double teamed and Shelley covers Berto and Angel breaks the pin.
Sabin is tagged in and Los Garza double teams MCMG and Berto covers Sabin for a two count. Shelley is kicked off the apron and Angel hits a Moonsault on Shelley. In the ring, Berto hits a Moonsault but Sabin gets his feet up and counters.
Berto rolls out of the ring and Sabin hits a suicide dive on them. In the ring, Shelley is tagged in and they hit Skull and Bones. They immediately follow up with the cover for the win.
Winners: Motor City Machine Guns
Jacob Fatu Finally Runs Into Solo Sikoa
A Damian Priest promo airs where he makes it clear when he’s in the ring, it’s him against everybody. He is ready to win tonight to qualify and then go on to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber and cement his spot at WrestleMania 41.
When the Priest promo wraps up, we see Jacob Fatu still on a rage looking for Solo Sikoa backstage, with Tama Tonga following behind him. Solo blasts through a door and sees a calm Solo Sikoa seated and staring at him.
Solo pops up and tells Jacob that he’s been messed up since losing the Tribal Combat showdown for the rights to be the Tribal Chief against Roman Reigns at the WWE Raw on Netflix debut episode. He says he’s back and ready to get things back on track.
It starts with Jacob winning the qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber tonight. Jacob goes to walk off, but Solo grabs his arm. Jacob turns around and Solo says, “I love you, Jacob.” Jacob hesitates but ultimately walks off.
Shinsuke Nakamura Wants Worthy U.S. Title Challenger
The WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way out and heads to the ring. He settles inside and begins talking, but he doesn’t get much out, other than mentioning he wants a real test and a worthy challenger for his title.
He is then interrupted by the familiar sounds of LA Knight’s entrance tune. “The Mega Star” comes out and begins as always, “Lemme talk to ya!” He brings up Nakamura claiming he’s been hiding in the shadows. Knight says it’s true. He says Nakamura mentioned praying for a worthy contender. He says “Wrong!”
He calls it the biggest bunch of B.S. he’s ever heard. He says the last time they were in the ring, he planted Nakamura’s head on the mat, but then half the isles of Samoa and Tonga came out to snatch the victory from him. He says he set out on a quest to recapture that championship.
He says if Nakamura “wants to talk about tests for the title, the test is staring at him, and he’s already failed that test, with everybody sayin’ …” After he says that, The Miz’s theme hits.
LA Knight vs. The Miz
The Miz comes out and asks the fans if they’re “still going for that shtick” from LA Knight. He heads to the ring talking about having the WWE Universe eating out of the palm of his hand. He says it proves one thing. The fans aren’t educated.
Knight cuts Miz off as he’s about to say he deserves the U.S. title opportunity. He says if Miz wants to talk about the same old shtick, he knows what he’s about to say. He brings up Miz being a former Grand Slam Champion and beating John Cena at WrestleMania.
He says that’s the same old shtick. He says he didn’t even know Miz was still here and he’s like everybody else, they’re ready to see him go away. Miz pretends to cry and brings up Knight saying last week it’s okay for men to cry. Knight says he’s right. He says on the list of all-time cry-baby bitches, it’s Miz and McIntyre neck-and-neck at the top.
Miz says at least he’s been at the top. He says when his career ends, his legacy is set, can Knight say the same? He says if John Cena can call his shot, so can he, and he wants his shot at the U.S. title. He came to SmackDown with a new purpose.
To force his way to WrestleMania, and Knight will be a guy on the outside looking in, just like he has his entire career. Knight mentions how he not only wants the title, but the title needs him. He makes that thing shine. He says “but you … have you ever met you? You suck! You are the most impotent dork!” Miz charges at Knight.
Knight counters and goes for a BFT, but Miz escapes and rolls out to the floor. He takes his robe off and gets ready to re-enter the ring. Nick Aldis comes out. The SmackDown General Manager says it’s obvious to him that Miz and Knight are looking for a fight, and that Nakamura is looking for a worthy challenger for his title.
He says tonight, right now, it’ll be Miz and Knight. The show heads into a quick pre-match commercial break on that note. When the show returns, Knight vs. Miz is in progress, with Knight taking the early offensive lead. After some more back-and-forth action, Nakamura, who is at ringside, distracts Knight, allowing Miz to take over.
After Miz slams Knight into the steel steps at ringside, he settles into his first comfortable offensive lead in the bout. On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, Knight starts to shift the momentum back into his favor.
Knight hits a BFT and follows up with a double-jump elbow for the win. Afterwards, Nakamura enters the ring and stares Knight down while raising the U.S. title up high. They exchange some words off-mic, and then Nakamura walks off as Knight’s theme plays.
Winner: LA Knight
Alexa Bliss And Wyatt Sicks Tease
Backstage, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae are talking when out of nowhere, up comes Alexa Bliss with Lilly. Bliss is still looking like the “Little Miss Bliss” that would accompany “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt around back in the day. As she talks to Jax, we see some Wyatt Sicks-style production glitches.
R-Truth vs. Carmelo Hayes
Back inside the Capital One Arena, R-Truth’s theme hits and out comes the WWE veteran doing his usual “What’s up?” rap entrance. He settles in the ring for the next match of the evening as the show heads into a quick pre-match commercial break.
When the show returns, Andrade approaches a dejected Miz and sarcastically offers to teach him a thing or two after watching his match tonight. He walks off and Carmelo Hayes walks up. He tells Miz people like that shouldn’t be disrespecting them.
Miz says he’s right. He says they should team up. “‘Melo don’t Miz!” he says with a big cheeky grin, trying to get Hayes to pound it. Hayes walks off leaving Miz hanging and heads to the ring as his theme hits.
He settles inside the squared circle as split-screen footage of the digital exclusive with himself and Truth from earlier tonight is shown to explain why this match was put together. The bell sounds and Hayes rushes across the ring and gets the early jump on Truth. Within seconds, Hayes hits Nothing But Net for the easy win.
Winner: Carmelo Hayes

Pretty Deadly says they just stood up for themselves. DIY says they were good to them and now whatever happens next week is on them and that they’ll end their careers. After that, the brief segment wraps up.
We shoot to Joseph and Barrett at ringside, who mention they have received a response from Kevin Owens to the video sent in by Sami Zayn earlier tonight. A new Owens car promo airs where Owens says he is hurt because three friends betrayed him.
He says Zayn mentioned being in pain, but it’s nothing compared to what’s coming. He challenges him to meet him where it all started, in Canada, at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto. After that, the show heads into another commercial break.

Flair grabs a steel chair that is already in the ring. She unfolds the chair and sits down right in front of a still out-of-it Stratton. She begins talking, “Wake up, Tiffy! It’s still Tiffy-Time!
