The preliminary overnight numbers for Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown are now available on SpoilerTV. This week’s live FOX broadcast drew 2.182 million viewers on average. This is based on 2.204 million viewers for the first hour and 2.160 million viewers for the second hour.
The preliminary figure was slightly higher than the overnight audience for the previous week’s show, which averaged 2.168 million viewers. In comparison, the final viewership figure for last week’s episode was 2.257 million.
In the crucial 18-49 demographic, SmackDown averaged a 0.5 rating. This is the same as the overnight key demo rating from last week. In the same key demo, the final rating for last week’s episode was 0.53.
On Friday, WWE SmackDown tied for first place in primetime network programming ratings, with Shark Tank, 20/20, and Dateline all drawing identical ratings. Blue Bloods on CBS had the night’s highest viewership with 5.958 million viewers.
