WWE Set To Tape July 26 Episode Of SmackDown Following Friday’s Live Broadcast

According to PWInsider.com, WWE will be taping the July 26th episode of SmackDown immediately following the live broadcast of this Friday’s show.

This is because WWE is slated to run a house show loop in Japan starting on Thursday, July 25, at Edion Arena in Osaka. It will continue with two more shows at Ryogoku Sumo Hall on Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27.

This marks WWE’s first Japan tour since 2019. WWE talent will need to travel to Japan for the shows, thus missing SmackDown should it have been a live episode.

This Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown will feature the return of United States Champion “The Maverick” Logan Paul, who is set to respond to LA Knight’s SummerSlam challenge, and Andrade battling Carmelo Hayes in singles action.
