WWE Registers Trademark For Giulia

WWE has applied for another ring-related trademark, this time for Giulia.

On September 3, the company registered the name “Giulia” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office under the entertainment services classification. Here is the description of the trademark.

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

The top international superstar made her official WWE NXT debut at this year’s WWE NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event in Denver, Colorado. The debut came after NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez defeated Jaida Parker to retain her title. Giula stared at Perez, who was holding up her title.

On this week’s NXT, Giulia confronted Chelsea Green, who wanted an NXT Women’s Title match. Giulia stated that she wanted the title match on the first episode of NXT on the CW, which airs on October 1. She and Perez exchanged stares to end the show.
