WWE RAW Results – October 10, 2022
Kicking off this week’s Raw with X Pac, Shawn Michaels & Road Dogg are getting ready to head to the ring. They ask Triple H if he’s ready and Triple H tells them they can’t be as rambunctious as they normally are due to WWE sponsors. X Pac, Michaels & Road Dogg then curse a bunch & make d*ck jokes and Triple H tells them he’s serious before they walk off.
The Bloodline make their way down to the ring.
Paul Heyman hands the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns a microphone. Reigns tells Brooklyn New York to acknowledge him. He says that he doesn’t like to dwell in the past, but he’s having trouble looking past his encounter with Logan Paul this past Friday. He says that his father told him that the loudest in a room is always the weakest in the room before calling on Jey Uso. He asks if he’s a fool and Jey says no. Sami Zayn cuts Reigns off and reminds Reigns that he said Jey was his problem. He asks Reigns to allow him to handle the situation and Reigns says yes.
Zayn tells Jey that The Bloodline loves him, but says that he and Reigns were talking about the future of the group. He says that he feels like he hasn’t been very Ucey as of late, then tells Jey to look at Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso. He says that everyone is pretty cool, except for him. He asks Jey if he could try being cool.
Jey looks at Reigns and asks if this is a joke. Zayn says he hates to be this guy, but before he can finish, Matt Riddle’s music cuts him off and he heads to the ring.
Riddle says that he made Seth Rollins tap at Extreme Rules and says that he knows there’s a stipulation where he can never challenge for the title again, but says that the people want to see it. Reigns asks if they should give him one more chance, then says no. He says a deal is a deal. Riddle says that if he won’t step up to the plate, then maybe someone else from The Bloodline will. The crowd cheers for Zayn & Jey tells him he should step up to the plate. Zayn asks Riddle what he’s doing before agreeing to face him.
Mr Money In The Bank Austin Theory vs. Johnny Gargano
Austin Theory charges straight at Johnny Gargano then he gets him up on his shoulders, but Gargano escapes and delivers 3 chops. Gargano delivers several stomps to Theory’s midsection. He hits a hurricanrana off the 2nd rope that sends Theory onto the apron, then follows it up with several forearms. Gargano looks for One Final Beat but Theory counters and hits a vertical suplex that takes us to a commercial break.
After the break Gargano hits a pair of forearms and a back elbow then delivers a kick, followed by a spear. He goes for a hook of the leg but Theory kicks out at 2. Theory hits a back elbow, then sends him to the mat and goes for a pin but Gargano kicks out. Gargano delivers a kick but Theory manages to lock in the Gargano Escape. Gargano counters with a pin but Theory kicks out. Gargano locks in the Gargano Escape but Theory picks up Gargano and looks for A Town Down but Gargano escapes and Theory hits him with a superkick. Gargano fires back with one of his own and sends Theory to the outside. He hits a DDT on the floor before tossing him back in the ring then hits One Final Beat to get the victory.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable
We get going with a lock-up. Chad Gable trips Mysterio, then delivers a shoulder tackle. Mysterio fires back with a kick, followed by hurricanrana. Gable rolls to the outside and Mysterio follows him with a baseball slide under the bottom rope and a sunset flip into the barricade. Judgment Day’s music then hits before Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley head to the ring that takes us to a break.
After the break Ripley & Dominik watch on as Mysterio hits a hurricanrana on Gable in the ring. Mysterio hits a pair of back elbows before Gable manages to lock in the ankle lock. Mysterio escapes by sending Gable shoulder-first into the ring post, then looks for a crossbody over the top but Otis catches him. Mysterio pushes him into the ring post, then sends Gable into the ropes. He delivers the 619, followed by a splash for the win.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
After the match, Dominik gets in the ring as Ripley stands on the apron. Dominik pushes Rey and tells him to hit him. Rey refuses and Dominik slaps him across his face. Finn Balor and Damian Priest attempt to blindside him with an attack, but Rey levels them. He looks for the 619 on Balor, but Dominik intercepts him with a spear. He tells his father to hit him once again. Rey begins to cry and tells him no once again. Dominik attacks him from behind as he goes to leave the ring and hits him with a 619.
Back from the break & Judgement Day are in the ring, Rhea Ripley says that Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw. Damian Priest tells fans that they hate to hear the truth and says that every single person that steps to them falls. They say that they continue to rise before congratulating Finn Balor on beating Edge at Extreme Rules. Balor says that the cold hearted truth was that he put a stop to the fan’s celebration of Edge’s return after making him say I Quit. He says that he’s too legit to quit before throwing it to a video of highlights from their match.
Ripley then shows off her armband with Beth Phoenix’s name on it before calling her a joke and says what she did was just a glimpse of what she’s capable of. Dominik then says that watching Ripley hit the con chair to on Phoenix did it for him and all of the fans. He says that his favorite part aside from hitting him with a 619 was seeing the look on Rey’s face. He says that Rey deserves to feel as useless as he made him.
Balor then addresses AJ Styles. He tells Styles he hopes he has considered his offer because he’s run out of mercy and is giving him an ultimatum. Balor then calls Styles to the ring and he heads down. Styles asks if it’s really come down to an ultimatum and says he’s not there to argue. He says that he’s been alone for far too long and says there comes a time in a man’s life when he needs friends. He says that he needs family before kneeling to Balor. Styles shakes his hand and hugs him. Balor says he’s proud of him and happy that he came around. Styles says that he wasn’t talking about him before Good Brothers’ music hits and they head to the ring!
The OC then go after Judgment Day before they begin to brawl. Styles tackles Balor over the announce table as Gallows hits Priest with a chair. Judgment Day retreats as Anderson chases them. The three men then surround Balor as he runs up the ramp.
We then head backstage to Bryon Sexton is with Damage CTRL & asks Bayley if she considers her loss at Extreme Rules to be a setback. Dakota Kai says that if he wants to talk about setbacks, then they should talk about SummerSlam. Kai says that Bayley was the only one to extend a hand to her and says she would do anything for her & Iyo Sky. She says when Bayley gets her rematch, they will punish Bianca BelAir.
Back from the commercial break, we head to The Bloodline in the parking lot. Jey Uso catches up to Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa. He asks what was up with Zayn before Reigns says that they’re headed to the city to party. He tells Jey to stay with Sami Zayn and follow him where he goes. He says to make sure that Zayn wins.
Candice LeRae vs. Bayley
Bayley kicks LeRae in the midsection. She sends LeRae into the corner and hits her with several kicks. She hits a shoulder tackle, then goes for a pin but LeRae kicks out. LeRae hits a pair of arm drags, followed by a dropkick. Bayley fires back with a right hand to LeRae’s midsection before LeRae delivers a missile dropkick off the top rope that sends us to a break.
After the break LeRae hits several forearms on Bayley. She hits a running back elbow, then hits a step-up senton. She delivers a dropkick, then goes for a pin but Bayley kicks out. Bayley sends LeRae into the corner, then targets her left knee. She slams it into the mat and looks for the Rose Plant but LeRae rolls her up for the win.
Winner: Candice LeRae
After the match, Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky run down and attack LeRae. Raw Women’s Champion Bianca BelAir runs down to the ring to make the save before Bayley hits her with a knee. Sky & Kai double team on her before Bayley hits a knee on LeRae. Bayley hits an elbow off the top rope as Damage CTRL stands tall.
We head backstage to The Miz & Maryse. Maryse gives The Miz a gift. He opens it and reveals it to be a baseball bat.
the ring is set up with presents, balloons, a cake, and an ice sculpture. Maryse introduces The Miz and he heads down with his bat in hand. Miz says Maryse outdid herself and she says she spent lots of money. She tells him to read the baseball bat and he says it’s signed by Jose Ramirez. He rags on New York’s sports teams before Maryse tells him to open the big gift. He does and it’s two red exercise balls with pictures of him taped to it. He opens another one but has a hard time getting it off the table. When he does, we see Dexter Lumis’ head. He smashes the present with the baseball bat, but the wrapping paper gets squished and he flips the table to see Lumis isn’t there. Lumis then appears in the ring and attacks The Miz. Maryse tries to pull Lumis off him, but is unsuccessful. Lumis pushes The Miz and Maryse, which sends her into the cake. Miz escapes and retreats, leaving Maryse in the ring alone with Lumis. Maryse runs away and Lumis pops the balls with a knife. He then eats a slice of cake.
We then head backstage and see Seth Rollins with his ribs wrapped up, preparing for his match with Bobby Lashley for the United States Title later on tonight.
We go backstage to Road Dogg, X Pac & Shawn Michaels wishing Ace and Chico good luck in their match with Omos. The Miz & Maryse then walk in with his popped balls and ask for Triple H. They ask for cake before Michaels says that Lumis is a good guy. He says that he doesn’t just go after anybody and has a reason for doing so. Miz says he would do anything to get rid of him before Road Dogg suggests that he go 1 on 1 with Lumis next week. He says that if Miz wins, then Lumis is gone from WWE but if Lumis wins, then he gets a WWE contract. The Miz agrees.
1 On 2 Handicap Match
Omos vs. Robert Adams & Joseph Torres
Omos hits Joseph Torres with a big boot. He gets Robert Adams up on his shoulders and sends him into the ring post. He then delivers a delayed vertical suplex on Torres before Adams jumps on his back. Omos then hits Adams & Torres with a double chokeslam for the win.
Winner: Omos
After the match, Omos continues to beat down both men.
We are back from the break, we get a recap of Bray Wyatt’s return at Extreme Rules.
United States Champion Bobby Lashley heads down to the ring for his United States Title. He says that he’s going to continue to be a fighting champion for the fans and says he’s beaten some of the best in the business. He tells Seth Rollins to come and take his fair shot, but Brock Lesnar’s music hits and he heads to the ring instead.
Lesnar says good evening to Brooklyn and Lashley before hitting an F5. He then delivers a German suplex before hitting another F5. He then cinches in the Kimura Lock before releasing it and leaving the ring.
After the break medical personnel are checking on Bobby Lashley. Seth Rollins’ music hits and he heads to the ring in no mood to play around. He tells Lashley to get into the ring and says he wants his match now. Medical personnel help Lashley to the back before Rollins’ says he isn’t getting out of the title match that easily. He says he wants his match now and tells him he’s supposed to be a fighting champion and a soldier. He calls him a disgrace to the United States Title and his country. Lashley becomes enraged by his comments and gets in the ring. Lashley tells the referee to ring the bell.
United States Title Match
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins
Bobby Lashley looks for a spear but Seth Rollins counters into a Pedigree, then goes for a pin but Lashley kicks out. Rollins then ascends to the top and hits a frog splash, then goes for a pin but Lashley kicks out. Rollins looks for a Curb Stomp, but Lashley moves out of the way. He delivers a spear, then looks for the Hurt Lock. Rollins targets Lashley’s arm and hits a superkick. He delivers a rolling elbow, followed by the Curb Stomp. He hits the 2nd one for the win.
Winner & New United States Champion: Seth Rollins (NEW CHAMPION!!!)
We go backstage to Bryon Sexton trying to interview Bobby Lashley. He says he’s pissed off and says what Brock Lesnar did was unforgivable. He challenges Lesnar to show up next week so that he can show him what a little b*tch he is.
We then head to Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick but are interrupted by a teaser video from Bray Wyatt, who says to revel what you are.
We head to a video package announcing Elias’ return next week.
Matt Riddle vs. Sami Zayn
Matt Riddle & Sami Zayn lock up to get this match started. Zayn delivers a shoulder tackle before Riddle delivers a kick across Zayn’s chest. Riddle hits another one, then follows it up with an elbow. He goes for a pin, but Zayn kicks out. Zayn delivers a clothesline, then goes for a pin but Riddle kicks out. Zayn chokes Riddle on the middle rope. While the referee is distracted, Jey Uso hits Riddle. Both men spill to the outside before Zayn trips Riddle and delivers a moonsault off the ropes it takes us to a break.
After the commerical break Zayn sends Riddle face first into the top turnbuckle. He delivers an elbow off the middle rope, then goes for a pin but Zayn kicks out. Riddle kicks a kick to Zayn’s head, followed by another one to his chest and a Broton. Zayn manages to hit a Michinoku Driver, then goes for a pin but Riddle kicks out.
Zayn & Riddle then ascends to the top before Zayn delivers a headbutt to knock him off. Zayn goes flying, but Riddle catches him with a knee. He goes for a pin, but Zayn kicks out while the referee is distracted and Riddle is caught in the ropes, Jey looks to hit him with a knee. Zayn asks what he’s doing before Riddle rolls him up. Zayn kicks out before they spill to the outside and Riddle goes flying off the ropes that take us to another break.
We are back Zayn & Riddle hit one another with a double clothesline. Riddle hits several forearms before Zayn fires back with a big boot. Riddle delivers a ripcord knee, but Zayn fires back with the Exploder in the corner. Riddle hits a powerslam before they spill to the outside and brawl. Riddle looks for a kick and Jimmy looks to help Zayn, but Jey stops him and Riddle hits a kick. When they get back in the ring, Zayn looks for a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Riddle counters with an RKO for the win.
Winner: Matt Riddle
After the match, Jimmy offers to help Zayn up but Jey stops him.
WWE Hall of Famers Triple H, Shawn Michaels, “Road Dogg” Brian James, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman ride out in a DX jeep to commemorate the group’s 25th anniversary. The crowd is being given DX t-shirts and glowsticks. As the pyro goes off, DX strikes their iconic posture.
X Pac tells Brooklyn to make some noise before giving a shout out to Chyna. Triple H says it smells funny in the arena, then asks Road Dogg if it’s him. He says it’s been a long 25 years before asking if Brooklyn is ready. He then thanks the thousands in the arena and for the millions at home for the last 25 years. Michaels then tells fans they have to promise that if they’re standing there 25 years from now then they’ll have to put them out of their misery. He says that if they aren’t down for that, then they can “suck it,” to end this weeks Raw.
