WWE RAW Results – May 13, 2019
We are in London, England and your announcers are Michael Cole, Renee Young, and Corey Graves.
Miz makes his way to the ring for MizTV.
Miz welcomes us and he reminds us that Sunday is Money in the Bank. He reminds people that he has won Money in the Bank and he has cashed in and it changed his career. He says that one man and one woman will see that happen on Sunday. Miz mentions his opponent on Sunday, Shane McMahon. Sunday, they will be locked inside a steel cage and as much as he wants to talk about himself, he wants to talk about his guest.
He brings out Roman Reigns.
Miz asks Roman what can we expect from him on Sunday against Elias.
Roman says Elias is a lot of things. He is young, strong, and charismatic. Roman says if you want a karaoke performer or a wedding singer, you can walk with Elias. He has not won any championships and on Sunday, he will bring the Big Fight.
Miz says they are not usually on the same page but he mentions Roman’s role in the new Fast and Furious spinoff and he suggests a collaboration.
Roman tells Miz he sounds like the old Miz who wants to punch him in the mouth. Roman says he wanted to talk to the new Miz who stood up to the Authority and chased Shane around the building with a chair.
Roman says that is the Miz we all want to talk to after seeing the footage.
Miz says he has never been on the same page with Roman or the WWE Universe but it took Shane McMahon to do it. It is about earning respect from your peers and the audience. Miz says he has earned that over his thirteen years. Shane never earned that respect and is his daddy’s son. Miz says he might not be the strongest or the fastest, but he knows how to win. Shane has attacked his father and run from him at every turn. On Sunday, none of his power or privilege will matter because Shane will be stuck in a steel cage with him. There will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. You will regret what you did and you will go down faster than your dad did to a Superman punch.
Shane McMahon’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage.
Shane says it is fitting that you are talking about him and he reminds Roman and Miz that he is their boss. Shane says as of right now, MizTV is over.
Bobby Lashley spears Roman and Elias attacks Miz.
Shane says that they can stay in the ring because they have a match against Elias and Bobby Lashley.
Match Number One: Elias and Bobby Lashley versus Miz and Roman Reigns
Miz and Elias start things off and Miz with pucnhes and Elas sends Miz to the apron and Miz returns to the ring and gets a near fall with a rollup. Elias with a punch. Miz with a knee and kick followed by Reality Check for a near fall. Miz with a wrist lock and Roman asks to tag in and Miz allows it. Elias goes to the floor to get into Roman’s head. Lashley tags in and they lock up. Lashley poses on the break and Roman blocks a punch. Lashley with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Lashley with a front face lock but Roman backs Lashley into the corner and connects with shoulders.
Lashley with an elbow and Roman with a near fall. Roman with NeverEnding Story and Miz tags in and hits an Awesome Clothesline. Roman with a punch and then he connects with an elbow to Elias. Miz with kicks to Elias and Lashley. Miz with a round kick to Elias but Lashley blocks the round kick. Miz lands on his feet on a power bomb attempt and Elias drops Miz on the top rope and Lashley with a Flatliner for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Shane chokes Miz on the ropes while the referee is not looking. Elias gets a near fall. Elias goes to the ropes and he goes Old School with Meteora for a near fall. Lashley tags in and he hits a running shoulder into the corner. Lashley with a delayed vertical suplex. Lashley with elbows to Miz and Elias tags in. Elias with a kick. Elias with a chop and punches. Miz with elbows and punches to get out of the corner but Elias stops Miz from making the tag. Roman punches Elias and MIz with a DDT. Lashley tags in and keeps Miz from making the tag. Lashley with an Irish whip but he misses a shoulder and hits the ring post.
Shane pulls Roman off the apron and sends Roman into the ring steps.
The referee calls for the bell.
Winners: Roman Reigns and Miz (by disqualification)
After the match, Lashley and Elias work over Miz until Shane throws a few punches. Miz is worked over and Roman with a plancha onto Elias, Lashley, and Shane. Roman punches Elias and Shane stops Roman. Roman with a take down and he punches Shane. Elias and Lashley go after Roman to allow Shane to escape. Miz hits Elias and Lashley with a chair and then Roman with Superman punches.
Seth Rollins is in the back talking to a production assistant as we go to commercial.
We are back with a look at Seth Rollins and AJ Styles leading into their match on Sunday.
We take a look at Braun Strowman throwing Sami Zayn away with the trash last week.
Braun Strowman walks in the back and he is asked about what he did last week and if he has any regrets.
Braun says his only regret is that Sami was not turned into a cube. Tonight is about the Money in the Bank ladder match and he will win it again.
Braun is told by a production assistant that he is wanted in Shane’s office.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sami Zayn is in Shane’s office and he says that it is the toxic nature of the fans that has led to some of the actions of the wrestlers. Sami says the people cheer Braun only when he acts like a monster.
Braun enters and he sees Sami and says that this must be why he was called to the principal’s office. Sami says that Braun is going to be taken out of the Money in the Bank match and Sami is going to get his spot. Sami says that he will fight for the spot. Sami suggests a Falls Count Anywhere Match so he can throw Braun into a dumpster.
Shane reminds Sami that Braun was supposed to face Drew McIntyre and Sami says Shane can figure something out for Drew.
Braun tells Sami he will eat him alive.
Match Number Two: Mojo Rawley versus Apollo Crews
Crews with a forearm to the back and punches to Rawley. Crews floats over and he appears to have injured his knee. Mojo with a shoulder to the injured knee. Mojo with a running forearm to the head followed by an Alabama Slam for the three count.
Winner: Mojo Rawley
Alexa Bliss is in the back and she is on the phone. Alexa is not in a good mood. She talks about her lost luggage and she mentions her gear was in the bag. Alexa says that her luggage is her priority.
Nikki Cross stops by and she wants to know if everything is okay.
Alexa says she does not know how Nikki grew up over here. She says that she is excited to talk to Nikki.
Nikki says she has been here for four weeks and didn’t think people noticed.
Alexa doesn’t want to talk about her problems but Nikki says it is okay. Alexa talks about losing two weeks ago because of her shoes and then she does not have her gear. She doesn’t want to be embarrassed again. Nikki suggests that Alexa go to the McMahons to explain her situation and Alexa thanks Nikki for taking her place tonight.
We see Becky Lynch and her belts make their way through the back as we go to commercial.
We are back and Michael Cole is in the ring with a table and three chairs. Michael mentions Becky Lynch’s two title matches.
Lacey Evans makes her way to the ring.
Charlotte Flair is the next to make her way to the ring.
The Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring.
Cole asks Becky if she understands what is going to happen by defending both titles in separate matches on Sunday.
Becky says it is nice to be back in London. She says that is a good question. They are both bigger, stronger, and more athletic than her. She does not know how much of a beating she will take, but she does not care. You can talk about biting off more than you can chew. She says Lacey will feel the pressure of backing up what you said as she stomps on her neck. Becky tells Lacey to ask her twin sister.
Charlotte says that Becky never learns. You have everything you ever wanted and you still have to make digs. The same thing got you in trouble in the first place. You are in a situation you cannot win.
Lacey says that she is not the only one to show up with the decency to be dressed appropriately. Lacey says it is a contract signing, not a fight in a barn.
Becky says Lacey hasn’t seen one of these before. Becky reminds Charlotte that she is going into the match with Becky having what she thought she would have. Becky says Charlotte has not been delivering lately and she is under some pressure. Becky says one of you cannot afford to lose their first title match and the other cannot afford to lose their millionth. Becky says she isn’t the only one under pressure.
Charlotte says that Becky got her storybook ending by beating Ronda, but it isn’t enough. You had to name yourself Becky Two Belts and a reputation you cannot live up to. All of this will come crashing down. Charlotte says it is hilarious because these two titles cannot hide your jealousy and insecurities. You will bow down to the Queen.
Lacey says everyone needs a proper champion to set an example. Your behavior is confusing the girls. Lacey says you can continue to pretend to swing around something that you don’t have. You won’t be able to take out two women like Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair.
Becky offers Lacey to take the first shot at her.
Lacey says she doesn’t want to ruin her dress.
Becky sends Lacey into the turnbuckles and Charlotte goes after Becky but Becky with punches and knees. Becky sets for a power bomb through the table but Lacey stops Becky. Becky goes for DisArmHer on Lacey but Charlotte with a super kick. Charlotte sends Becky into the turnbuckles. Charlotte with a forearm to Becky’s back. Charlotte power bombs Becky through the table with some help from Lacey.
We go to commercial.
We are back with Baron Corbin getting his Steve Corino Lite introduction.
Ricochet says winning Money in the Bank is like winning the lottery, but he is not going to sit back for his chance. He will take destiny into his own hands.
Match Number Three: Baron Corbin versus Ricochet
Corbin sends Ricochet to the apron and Ricochet with a forearm and he flips over Corbin to get back into the ring. Ricochet with a drop kick. They lock up and Corbin with a knee to the midsection and he sends Ricochet into the turnbuckles. Ricochet floats over and Ricochet with an elbow. Ricochet slides into the corner and Corbin slides around the ring post. Ricochet with a springboard cross body and Corbin goes to the floor. Ricochet with a baseball slide and Ricochet is sent onto the apron. Ricochet with a moonsault off the ring post.
Ricochet with a punch and he springboards over Corbin but Corbin with a clothesline as we go to commercial.
We are back and Corbin catches Ricochet on a handspring back elbow and Corbin with a belly-to-back suplex. Ricochet leaps over Corbin and Ricochet with a forearm. Ricochet with an uppercut. Corbin sends Ricochet into the corner but runs into a boot. Ricochet with a rolling drop kick. Ricochet with a cross body into the corner followed by an enzuigiri. Ricochet with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Corbin goes for a choke breaker but Ricochet counters into a sunset flip for a near fall. Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall.
Corbin argues with the referee and Corbin escapes End of Days and hits a tornado DDT. Ricochet goes up top and lands on his feet when Corbin moves. Corbin with a boot and Ricochet with a palm strike. Ricochet is sent to the apron but Corbin but Ricochet with a springboard Frankensteiner followed by a shooting star press for a near fall. Ricochet goes for a tornado DDT and Corbin blocks it and hits End of Days for the three count.
Winner: Baron Corbin
After the match, Corbin sets up a ladder in the ring. Baron climbs the ladder and Ricochet pushes the ladder over and Corbin hits the ropes and bounces to the floor.
We take a look at what happened last week when Samoa Joe confronted Dominic Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio is asked about last week. Rey says Joe crossed the line by targeting his son after losing a match. If Joe or anyone else has something to say, they can find him and say it to his face.
Cesaro enters and says it is rude for Rey to talk about Joe when he is not here. Cesaro wants to know when Raw became bring your son to work.
Rey says that Dominic is training.
Cesaro says that Dominic is 6 foot 2 while you are 5 foot nothing. Cesaro says he looks more like Joe than Rey. Cesaro wonders if Rey is even Dominic’s father.
Rey and Cesaro fight until security separates them.
AJ Styles is in the back as we go to commercial.
We are back with a video package on Roman Reigns.
We go to AJ Styles in the back. He is asked about what has happened the last few weeks and his methods. AJ says they ask if he meant to hit AJ with the Phenomenal Forearm last week. He meant to hit Corbin but he has been disrespected by Rollins. AJ says this was Seth’s show until he showed up. AJ says he came to WWE with a chip on his shoulder. That got him a shot at the Universal Title and he will walk out of Money in the Bank as the Universal Champion.
Naomi says Money in the Bank is a gamechanger. There is no athlete in the match like her. Everyone will be outshined by her.
Dana Brooke says winning Money in the Bank is not about a contract or title match. It is validation for her. She deserves to win.
Natalya says she has more experience than anyone in Money in the Bank. This will be her fourth. She wants to win this more than anything.
Alexa Bliss reminds us she won the match last year and she will repeat this year and she will reign over the Women’s Division.
Match Number Four: Naomi versus Natalya versus Dana Brooke versus Nikki Cross
Nikki with a sleeper to Natalya and Naomi with a splash but Dana with a rollup on Naomi for a near fall. Natalya gets a near fall on Dana. Nikki sends Natalya to the floor and Dana sends Nikki to the floor. Naomi with a sit out BubbaBomb. Nikki trips Natalya and connects with forearms as she puts Natalya in the ring skirt. Naomi gets a few near falls on Dana. Dana with a baseball slide to Nikki and Natalya. Naomi with a corkscrew pescado as we go to commercial.
We are back and Natalya with an elbow to Dana when Dana goes for a handspring back elbow. Natalya with a surfboard. Nikki goes up top but Naomi pushes Nikki off the turnbuckles. Naomi with a bulldog to Dana and then gets a near fall on Natalya. Naomi sends Nikki to the floor. Natalya goes for a suplex on Naomi and Dana helps lift Naomi up and drop her to the mat. Nikki with forearms to Dana and Natayla followed by a belly-to-back suplex on Dana followed by a near fall on Naomi.
Nikki with a modified Rings of Saturn but Naomi gets a near fall. Naomi with a forearm and she kicks Dana. Naomi with forearms and then hits Rear View on Natalya and Nikki. Naomi kicks Dana and slams her on top of Natalya and hits a split legged moonsault on Dana and Natalya but the referee did not try for a count.
Dana goes under the ring and gets a ladder. Natalya with a forearm to Dana and Nikki with a spear under the ladder. Dana climbs the ladder and points at the briefcase before hitting a cross body onto Nikki, Natalya, and Naomi. Natalya sends Dana into the ringside barrier and then clotheslines Naomi. Nikki with a head butt to Natalya and then Nikki with a swinging hanging neck breaker on Natalya for the three count.
Winner: Nikki Cross
After the match, Nikki helps Alexa put a ladder into the ring.
Nikki sets up the ladder and she starts to climb it but Alexa decides to climb it instead. Alexa grabs the briefcase.
Sami Zayn is in the back and he says he is looking at social media and no one says he has a chance against Braun Strowman. That is just you projecting. Sami says he stands a great chance of winning. It is because he fights for a cause while Braun is a manifestation of your toxic beliefs. That is not how life works. Wanna know what is better than being big or strong? It is about being right. Sami says he will find a way to beat Braun and enter the Money in the Bank ladder match.
We go to comments from Samoa Joe about Rey Mysterio. Joe says it seems for someone of diminutive size, you talk a big game when you are not around. Joe says he did not cross the line, you crossed the line when you brought Dominic into the WWE. Someone needs to teach him to be a man and you are not the one to do it. Joe says he will see Rey on Sunday and he hopes he sees Dominic there.
Match Number Five: Rey Mysterio versus Cesaro
Cesaro with a waist lock take down but Rey with punches. Rey escapes a slam and drop kicks Cesaro in the knee and hits a spike rana. Rey is sent into the turnbuckles and hits a satellite head scissors. Cesaro with a boot and tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Rey with punches and they go over the top rope to the floor but Cesaro holds on to Rey on his shoudlers but Rey sends Cesaro into the ringside barrier. Rey with a sliding sunset flip but Cesaro rolls through and sends Rey into the ringside barrier a few times with a giant swing.
They return to the ring and Cesaro gets a near fall. Cesaro sets for a suplex to the floor but Rey with a knee and he goes to the apron. Rey with a punch but Cesaro with a boot. Cesaro goes shoulder first into the ring post when Rey leaps over Cesaro. Rey goes up top and Cesaro with a running European uppercut. Cesaro with a delayed superplex for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rey with a kick. Cesaro rolls through on a sunset flip attempt and Rey counters into a DDT. Rey with a springboard seated splash followed by a satellite head scissors and La Magistral for a near fall. Rey wtih a forearm and head scissors that sends Cesaro into the ropes. Cesaro blocks the 619 and Cesaro with a giant swing but he lets go out of sympathy. Cesaro with a European uppercut that sends Rey into the ropes. Cesaro thinks about it and he goes for the Tiger Feint Kick but Rey avoids it and Rey with a kick. Rey with a slingshot Code Red for a near fall.
Rey goes up top and is met with a European uppercut for a near fall. Cesaro sets for the Gotch Style Neutralizer but Rey counters and sends Cesaro into the ropes and hits the 619 and then Rey goes up top for the frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
We take a look at the issues between The Usos and the Revival over the last few weeks.
Scott Dawson wants to know what kind of weirdo voyeur watches a guy getting his back shaved. Dash says he was helping a friend. Dash says you took it too far with Ucey Hot. Scott says the Ball is in your court. Scott says they are not hard to find. The embarrassment to the Revival stops now.
Seth Rollins is in the interview area.

We are back with the latest Firefly Fun House. Bray says he has a secret. Abby says it better be good. Mercy says he has stuff to do. Bray says it is almost time to show everyone what he is working on. He asks for all of the Fireflies to help him. Bray says this warms his soul, but there is still some darkness in this noggin. Bray says he knows how to harness it and control it. Do you want see his secret?
We go to a darkened house and he asks to be let in. Bray is in a mask and we hear Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
We take a look at the Contract Signing from earlier tonight.
We go to Universal Champion Seth Rollins in the back.
Seth is told that the forearm last week was unintentional. Seth says we are beyond that. This is not about respect. It is personal. This is the first time they meet in a WWE ring. They met fifteen years ago in a small building and it was the first time that his friends and family believed in him. It will be a statement match on Sunday. It is not about proving anything to his friends and family, it will be about proving it to myself and to AJ Styles. That this is his industry and this is his show. Fifteen years ago, he looked up to AJ Styles. When the dust settles on Sunday, AJ will be looking up to him.
Match Number Six: Sami Zayn versus Braun Strowman in a Falls Count Anywhere Match for Braun Strowman’s Spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Sami draws Braun to the floor and then Sami runs into a shoulder tackle. Braun with a splash into the corner followed by a second splash. Sami goes to the floor and Braun follows and knocks Sami down with a running shoulder tackle. Braun goes for another lap around the ring and Braun with another running shoulder tackle. They return to the ring and Sami goes to the floor and into the crowd.
Braun follows Sami into the seating area and Braun with a punch. Sami throws a drink in Braun’s face to get away from Braun. Sami goes into the concourse as Braun follows. Sami hits Braun with a trash can and Braun with a knee and he sends Sami into a post. Sami is sent into the post many times. Braun gets a near fall with a Jericho cover. Braun with a punch. Baron Corbin hits Braun with a series of trash cans.
Sami gets a near fall. Baron continues to attack Braun with a trash can. Baron with a back drop driver through the merchandise table and Sami gets a near fall. Braun sends Corbin into the merchandise stand as we go to commercial.
We are back and Sami is running down the aisle with Braun following him. Sami hits Braun with a chair. Sami hits Braun in the back with the chair. Strowman blocks the chair shot and takes the chair from Sami and Braun with a punch. Braun grabs a ladder but Sami runs away so Braun drops the ladder. They go into the back. Sami throws things at Braun to try to slow him down but Braun catches up to Sami and sends him into the metal door. Drew McIntyre attacks Braun and sets up a chair.
Drew with a DDT onto the chair and Sami gets a near fall. Drew throws a chair at the referee but Drew is sent into the monitor by Braun and then Braun hits Drew with a cooler. They make their way into the gorilla position and back into the arena. Braun with a kick to the head and then he grabs a ladder and hits Sami with it in the midsection and back. Braun drops ladders onto Sami but Baron hits Braun and Drew joins in. Braun punches Drew and Baron hits Braun from behind. Baron with punches and Drew grabs a ladder. Drew hits Braun with the ladder. Braun punches Drew but Drew punches back and Baron and Drew suplex Braun onto a ladder.
Drew with a Claymore and Baron pulls Sami onto Braun and Baron and Drew add pressure on the cover for the three count.
Winner: Sami Zayn
Braun Strowman grabs Sami Zayn and they make their way to the announce table. Braun choke slams Sami through the announce table.
