WWE RAW RESULTS – JANUARY 13, 2025

The “WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” opening signature narrated by Paul “Triple H” Levesque kicks things off as always.

We then shoot inside the SAP Center in San Jose, CA., as Michael Cole informs us that the venue has hosted WWE Raw 22 times in the past, and even the 1998 WWE Royal Rumble won by “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. A cool drone camera shot is shown, swooping around the SAP Center, right in front of Pat McAfee and throughout the crowd.

CM Punk, Seth Rollins & Drew McIntyre Kick Off This Week’s Show

From there, Cole sends us into a recap video package looking back at last week’s historic WWE Raw on Netflix debut show from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA. After it wraps up, we see a vehicle pulling up to the SAP Center. Fans are chanting “CM Punk! CM Punk!” in the background.

CM Punk pops out of the vehicle and the crowd noise grows. He begins walking into the building and to the curtain for the entrance, where the radio glitch is heard, followed by the familiar sounds of Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality.” As the music plays, “The Best in the World” heads to the ring to kick off this week’s show.

Punk asks if we saw last week’s show, the debut on Netflix. Fans cheer. He asks if we saw him beat Seth “Freakin'” Rollins. Fans cheer again. He says he has a lot on his plate, but Rollins isn’t on it any longer. He talks about his long-awaited return after ten years to WWE. He even drops a “You can’t see me” gesture while talking, just to throw in a reference to John Cena.

He talks about seeing the massive WrestleMania sign in the crowd, even though one isn’t there right now. He once again brings up Cena in a cute-worded fashion, playing on his catchphrase as he talks directly into the camera. He brings up Cena declaring himself for Royal Rumble. He then declares himself for the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble.

As he continues to talk, he is cut off by Seth “Freakin'” Rollins, who also goes on to declare himself for the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match. The two bicker back-and-forth a bit, before Drew McIntyre comes out and talks to them from the entrance stage. He too declares for the Royal Rumble match.

After the newsworthy opening segment wraps up, the theme for Chad Gable hits and the American Made member makes his way out. As he heads to the ring for our first match of the evening, we shift gears and head into our first commercial break of the show.

When the show returns, Cole reads a live ad about a WWE charitable effort to support victims of the California Wildfire issues. We then return inside the SAP Center, where former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo makes his way out to the ring for his highly-anticipated WWE in-ring debut.

Balor also gives him a bit of a cold-shoulder, refusing his help during his Street Fight against Damian Priest later tonight, telling him to instead hang back.

Cathy Kelley catches up with The Pure Fusion Collective. PFC says they get disrespected and no one cares, and when they disrespect people it’s an issue. What they did to Kairi Sane isn’t just a message for Damage CTRL but it’s for the whole women’s roster.

Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Back inside the SAP Center, we hear the familiar sounds of Sheamus’ theme. Out comes “The Celtic Warrior” ask Pat McAfee, in trademark animated fashion, proclaims it “FIGHT NIGHT …BABY!” As Sheamus settles inside the squared circle, we shift gears and head into another commercial break.

McDonagh tells her she’s trying to stir up drama and that there is no tension within The Judgement Day.

Inside the arena, the theme for “The Ring General” hits, and Gunther makes his way out to the ring. Gunther says last week he followed the debut of RAW on Netflix and he was impressed but he wasn’t very impressed with the performance in the ring.

He was hoping WWE had a roster that could deliver and the only prize worth fighting for is the championship he has and he can’t be bothered with the OTC drama. Street Fight
Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest

It’s main event time!

Back inside the SAP Center after the break, we learn that JBL will return on next week’s WWE Raw on Netflix show. The lineup of matches and segments for the January 20 episode are announced, and then we gear up for our final match of the evening, which is the advertised Street Fight.

Damian Priest makes his way to the ring with a baseball bat and immediately brings out a bunch of weapons from below the ring. Priest starts with a kendo stick on Balor smacking him down to the mat. Priest throws Balor in the air and back down sending Balor outside the ring.

Balor slams Priest’s head against the announce table. Priest flapjacks Balor onto the announce table. Priest pulls a table out from under the ring and sets it up outside the ring. Balor punches Priest outside the ring and sends Priest over the barricade into the crowd.

The two fight through the crowd and up onto a balcony. Balor tries to throw Priest off, but Priest hangs on and ends up hitting a falcon arrow on Balor through some production equipment and tables way down below. Officials rush to check on them as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When we return, we see Balor is loaded up on a stretcher. Priest, meanwhile, is in the ring. Replays are shown. Priest exits the ring, runs up the ramp and beats down Carlito and JD McDonagh before stopping Balor on the stretcher. While still on the stretcher, Balor falls victim to a savage attack from Priest.

Priest rolls the stretcher down the ramp and Balor rolls off and back into the ring. Priest follows in behind him and blasts Balor with a big clothesline that turns him inside out. Carlito hits a backstabber on Priest to slow down his momentum. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh joins him and The Judgment Day numbers game begins to play a factor.

They continue to assault Priest until out of nowhere, the theme hits for The War Raiders. The New WWE Tag-Team Champions make their way down to the ring and quickly get Carlito, McDonagh and Dom-Dom out of the picture. They beat them up the ramp and to the backstage area.

Meanwhile, Balor and Priest are left alone in the ring to recover. Balor connects with a Sling Blade as Priest gets up. Balor gets a steel chair and begins blasting Priest with it over and over and over and over and over again. Balor wraps the chair around Priest’s neck, but Priest counters as Balor charges at him, and connects with a South of Heaven with the chair still around his neck.

He goes for the cover, but Balor survives. Fans begin loudly chanting “This is Awesome!” Two tables are seen set up at ringside about ten feet apart. Priest looks for Razor’s Edge to Balor through one of them, but Balor escapes out the back door. Priest hits Sling Blade on Priest and lays him across one of the tables on the floor.

Balor leaps off the ring apron with a Coup de Grace to put Priest through the table. Priest fights back and runs and spears Balor through part of the barricade. Fans chant “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” Priest then Donkey Kong’s Balor through the other table that was set up at ringside.

He brings him back in the ring and grabs Balor by the throat. “I am not my brother’s keeper!” he yells before hitting a South of Heaven chokeslam for the win. Priest celebrates the win. Cole and McAfee talk us through some replays of the very physical Street Fight main event.

They thank us for tuning in and remind us to tune back in next Monday night for week three of WWE Raw on Netflix. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!
