When Triple H first took over the main roster creative, he began using NXT stars for Main Event TV tapings as a reward for the wrestlers to work in front of a larger audience and get a sense of what the main roster is like. He has also used NXT stars on live events.
On Sunday, WWE held a live event at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, TX, featuring a former NXT Women’s Champion in the opening match, Roxanne Perez. It was a memorable evening for the hometown girl.
Perez was last seen in action on NXT TV on October 10th, when she defeated Asuka. Four days later, at an NXT live event, she defeated Lash Legend.
She most notably worked a trios match on SmackDown on October 14, 2022, the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match, and defeated Emma at the June 8th Main Event TV tapings.
In a tag team match, Perez and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre. LA Knight defeated Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight to headline the show. Click here for complete results.
