WWE Main Event Results – March 23, 2023
Bronson Reed vs. Nathan Frazer
Nathan Frazier flies all over the ring and hits a pair of dropkicks before Bronson Reed just runs him over. He drops an elbow and lands a headbutt. Frazer takes a bump in the corner off a whip then Reed hooks a chinlock. Reed just slams him back down and poses then back to a chinlock. Frazer with a jawbreaker but Reed knocks him back down.
Frazer avoids a backdrop and lands a head kick. He gets a dropkick and throws a running forearm. He tries a rana and fights his way to get the move. He finally gets Reed off his feet with a springboard dropkick followed by a standing moonsault gets a two count then tries a Phoenix Splash and it misses. Reed with a powerbomb followed by Tsunami gets the win.
Winner: Bronson Reed
We go back to 2 weeks ago on Smackdown in Pittsburgh we had a Intercontienetal Title #1 Contenders Fatal 5 Way Match to see who would go to WrestleMania. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus get a simultaneous pin and it’s decided they will face off a week later to determine the undisputed #1 Contender.
Back to Smackdown as Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair & 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Winner Rhea Ripley get into a brawl.
Back to Smackdown as Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus ends up as a no contest as Imperium hits the ring & attacks both men. Adam Pearce pops up on the screen and makes a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontienetal Title at WrestleMania.
Back to Smackdown as Sami Zayn stop Kevin Owens in the parking lot and lets him know that he loves him. Owens leaves, but returns later in the night to save Zayn from an attack by The Usos. Owens takes out The Usos and then hugs Zayn.
Back to Raw as Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn talk out their reunion before Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos interrupt & make the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles Match at WrestleMania official.
We get a Edge promo in a dark room with candles as he tells Finn Balor to bring his Demon to meet his Devil.
Shelton Benjamin vs. Charlie Dempsey
Match begins with a lock up then Shelton Benjamin gets a go behind but Charlie Dempsey grabs an arm and rolls into an armbar. He gets a one count just to force Benjamin to get off his back. Benjamin runs Dempsey into the corner and hits an elbow to the jaw which gets two. Dempsey brings his way out and repeats that a few times. Benjamin tries to break the bridge but Dempsey gets a northern lights suplex and sends Benjamin to the floor that takes us to a break.
After the break Benjamin & Dempsey trading forearms. Benjamin gets the advantage so Dempsey lands a headbutt to the ribs. Dempsey unloads with forearms and chops. He avoids a splash in the corner and gets a gutwrench suplex for two. He wraps up the arm and works that for a bit then Dempsey rolls Benjamin with a short arm scissors. Benjamin rolls to his back to get a one count but Dempsey rolls back to maintain the hold.
Benjamin lifts Dempsey off the mat, but Dempsey punches the arm and gets a suplex into a bridge, Benjamin lands an elbow but then gets caught in a backslide that Dempsey floats over into a pin attempt for a two count. Shelton comes back with a superkick then Dempsey throws some uppercuts but Benjamin blocks a whip and hits a running knee in the corner. He connects with Pay Dirt for the win.

Back to Raw as Roman Reigns returns and has the latest war of words with Cody Rhodes. with Reigns taking a shot at AEW with You started a company and promotion you couldn’t get over in and then you ran away then Rhodes tells Reigns he will wake up the day after Mania without his Titles and Jey Uso will leave him then Jimmy Uso will leave him too. He then starts to play mind games with Solo Sikoa & notes Heyman will leave and become an advocate again. Reigns takes his leave, but Rhodes gets in one more verbal shot at Sikoa as he tells him I knew you weren’t ready. Sikoa tries hit the Samoan Spike, but Rhodes blocks and Reigns pulls Solo away.
