WWE Looking To Hit One Million Viewers For NXT’s Premiere On The CW Network

WWE NXT debuts on the CW Network on Tuesday, October 1st, with CM Punk and The Miz, as well as Roxanne Perez vs. Guilia for the NXT women’s championship. A former TNA Wrestling tag team is also expected to appear at the event, with Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reporting that they are “expected to start imminently” in NXT.

According to Meltzer, the show is being loaded up with the goal of reaching one million viewers. Meltzer commented on The Bloodline’s appearance on NXT this past Tuesday:

“They really want the idea out for CW that any main roster star could show up unannounced or announced. We’re told another change in the show with the move on 10/1 is that it has to end at 9:59 p.m. because so many of the CW stations have news at 10 p.m., so no more overruns.”

At this time, approximately 5,440 tickets have been distributed for the NXT show in Chicago.
