CM Punk pulled out his AEW World Title that he had never lost from the red bag he carried to the ring during this week’s edition of AEW Collision. Punk dubbed himself the “real” World Champion and spray-painted an “X” on his belt.
Ricky Starks then entered the ring and demanded a title match after defeating CM Punk twice. Punk agreed to the match but stated that WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will serve as the special guest referee to ensure no cheating occurs.
The match will take place on the August 5th edition of Collision, which will compete against WWE SummerSlam.
