WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) appeared on an episode of Busted Open Radio, where he talked about a number of topics including “The Ring General” GUNTHER vs. “The Viper” Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WWE Bash in Berlin last Saturday.
Ray said, “I could sit here and talk about Randy and GUNTHER all day long. The subliminal mind f***ery that goes on in making you believe that Randy could become the 15-time world champion, which is only one step away from tying the record, right?”
On having GUNTHER kick out of the RKO which is usually highly protected:
“The protection of the finish is something that resonates so much with me and is so important. So many guys and gals these days are so willing to let others kick out of their finish. The RKO, such a special finish, protected for years and years … if you protect something that much in the business, when it’s time to give it up to somebody else, it’s gonna mean that much more on so many different levels.”
