WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) appeared on an episode of Busted Open Radio. He discussed several topics, including 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match winner “Main Event” Jey Uso cutting an emotional promo on RAW this past Monday night.
Ray said, “This is what I talk about when it comes to real emotion, raw emotion. What you saw with Jey Uso in the ring is what I wish we could bottle in professional wrestling and hand it out to each wrestler, so they could find that kind of emotion.”
On how it didn’t feel like Uso was cutting a promo on RAW:
“When he eventually started to talk, it didn’t sound even remotely like a promo. He was just kind of spouting off whatever came to the top of his head. When you see somebody’s eyes well up the way [his] did, and just a little bit of a tear in his eye, that was as real as it gets, because everything he was saying was true.”
