WWE Brings In UK Indie Talent For Clash At The Castle

For many, including UK independent talent, the WWE Clash At The Castle 2024 Premium Live Event from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, will never be forgotten. The company hosted the PLE and Friday Night SmackDown overseas a week ago, and the fans were ecstatic and gave great reactions throughout the nights.

According to Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, WWE invited several familiar faces of UK wrestling fans to the two events, with at least ten names in attendance, including extras and guests.

Damian Corvin, Progress Women’s World Champion Rhio, Aaron Echo, Andy Roberts, Shreddy, BT Gunn, RP Davies, Danny Jones, and Mulligan all attended the show. Other names were invited, but Fightful has been unable to confirm them.

Several of them were said to have done extra work, including RP Davies, who was spotted helping AJ Styles backstage after the I Quit Match with Cody Rhodes at Clash At The Castle. It is unclear whether the invited talent will be offered any deals.

Gabe Sapolsky is known to have played a role in bringing the talent to the show, as he previously scouted talent for WWE while also running EVOLVE.
