As promised, “The American Nightmare” dropped some bombshells on Tuesday night.
Cody Rhodes kicked off the special jam-packed episode of WWE NXT on Tuesday night to make his advertised “major announcement,” which ended up being multiple announcements.
Rhodes revealed that following the conclusion of the annual NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, the company will also be holding a NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament.
Additionally, one-half of the Undisputed WWE World Tag-Team Champions also announced the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic Tournament.
No start dates or any other particular information regarding either tournament has been announced at this time.
