WWE WRESTLEMANIA 41 RESULTS – APRIL 19, 2025
“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” kicks things off as always. We then hear “Timeless” by The Weeknd as we see a shot of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
Michael Cole welcomes us to the Countdown to WrestleMania 41 Saturday. The camera shows arrival shots of Seth Rollins and others, and settles at the pre-show panel, where Cole is seated with Pat McAfee, Big E. and Wade Barrett.
They run down the lineup for tonight’s show and then begin kicking it to other members of the broadcast team, such as Joe Tessitore, Sam Roberts and others, who give their thoughts on some of tonight’s scheduled matches. We also check in with Jackie Redmond, Peter Rosenberg, Byron Saxton and others.
Back at the panel, after some more banter, Cole gets hyped up in an attempt to transition to some kind of Selfie-Cam segment. As it turns out, he got ahead of himself, as that’s not until later. The rest of the panelists mess with him as he blushes and introduces Hall of Fame highlights.
We’re told by Cole on the broadcast that Rey Mysterio’s injury situation is legitimate, and that whether or not he competes as scheduled against El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41 will be a “game time decision” that the company will have to make.
After some more goofing off, we see some of Peter Rosenberg’s in-depth sit-down interview with Triple H. We also see an excerpt of Wade Barrett’s one-on-one with Charlotte Flair. At the panel, Cole teases a big announcement from WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
Following a brief commercial break, we return to an elaborate trailer promoting AAA aligning with WWE for a special Worlds Collide event on June 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA. Back live, HHH appears at the panel with Dorian Roldan of AAA, and a host of lucha libre talent. It is announced that WWE has acquired AAA.
Jackie Redmond conducts a live interview with Rey Mysterio during the Countdown to WrestleMania 41 pre-show, where he confirms he suffered an injury at last night’s WWE SmackDown. Because of this, he is not medically cleared. He introduces Rey Fenix, who will replace him against El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41.
The panel consists of Jackie Redmond, Big E. and Peter Rosenberg when we return. They talk among themselves about some of the announcements that were just made. Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews The New Day after a brief word from The War Raiders in an empty arena.
In a special area of the building, Joe Tessitore and Sam Roberts get some camera face-time to give their thoughts on the tag-team title tilt between the War Raiders and New Day. The talk then switches to the U.S. title bout with LA Knight defending against Jacob Fatu.
We are sent to a “moments ago” video from backstage, where we see Bayley is down and out. Lyra Valkyria approaches her and asks what happened. She comes to enough to say that someone attacked her. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez show up and taunt them. Adam Pearce doesn’t believe they weren’t involved.
It is then announced that Bayley is out. Lyra Valkyria is told she has less than 24 hours remaining to find a replacement partner for her tag-team title opportunity against Morgan and Rodriguez at WrestleMania 41 Sunday. Back to the panel, Stephanie McMahon joins them to plug her new podcast and ESPN+ series.
As the panelists begin wrapping up the final ten minutes of the pre-show, we hear Pat McAfee’s music in the background. The camera shot cuts to show him making his way to the commentary desk. Big E., Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg continue wrapping things up.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque Opens The Show
After Jelly Roll sings God Bless America to transition from the pre-show to the main show, we shift to the elaborate cold open video package narrated by Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
Straight from his narrated cold open, we settle inside Allegiant Stadium where Lilian Garcia introduces the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame inductee himself, and then the WWE Chief Content Officer appears in the ring. He welcomes us to Las Vegas.
He mentions for the first time, everyone in the building is being seen by the entire globe — right now. With that said, WELCOME TO WRESTLEMANIA! Fireworks and pyro explode as Pat McAfee says, “Hello world!” on commentary. Travis Scott’s “Fiend” plays again as Michael Cole does his enthusiastic introduction on commentary.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Gunther (c) vs. ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso
Not wasting any time, the elaborate introduction for Salvatore Banacci, Fatal Fury’s own, takes place. He pops up with a DJ set up and then spins the record as ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso’s theme begins. Fans with “YEET!” flags run to the ring. They line the long stage.
We also see cheerleaders in the crowd going up the long flights of stairs. The entire building sings along and do the “YEET!” wave as ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso emerges and begins making his custom walk through the crowd. It’s an impressive sight to see an entire football stadium “YEET’ing” at once.
Wade Barrett joins McAfee and Cole on a three-man commentary team for our opening contest, which is for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Co-founder of Def Jam, Rick Rubin, is seen “YEET’ing” in the front row. Some Slim Jim contest winners are shown. Cole, “C’mon Uce! C’mon Uce”! as he and Uso dap it up.

She settles inside the squared circle and then we see a weird “Special Weather Report” cut-in with some random white dude outside of Allegiant Stadium. In as corny-a-fashion as you’re picturing, he does a faux weather report to inform everyone that, yes, “a storm is coming.”

MAIN EVENT
Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman)
It’s main event time!
But first, we see an extended video package looking back at highlights from last night’s 2025 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony. When it wraps up, the inductees are brought out on stage. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Bret Hart are introduced, as are the family of Earthquake and Typhoon, Michelle McCool and Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Lex Luger was nowhere in sight.
Once this wraps up, the inductees make their way to the back again and we shift gears and get ready for the main event of the evening, with arguably the biggest triple-threat match in WrestleMania history. The elaborate pre-match video package airs to tell the story leading up to the final bout of night one of WrestleMania 41.
Back live inside Allegiant Stadium, the lights go down and when they come back on, Seth Rollins comes out to “BURN IT DOWN!” complete with a flame-thrower in a wild outfit. He shoots flames at the entrance stage. The lights go down as fans sing his music in the building. When they come back on, a spotlight is shining on Rollins, who is now in an all-white outfit with Macho Man Randy Savage-style sunglasses.
After Rollins settles in the ring, the music dies down. The fans keep singing. A few moments later, that momentum dies down. The theme for the first of his two opponents hits, and out comes Roman Reigns. Nothing fancy about his entrance. He comes out to pyro in his wrestling gear, wearing an Ola Fala. He throws the 1s up and makes the long walk down the massive entrance stage for his record tenth main event at WrestleMania.
Last, but definitely not least, in what WWE is hell bent on considering his first ever WrestleMania MAIN EVENT, CM Punk’s entrance begins. An elaborate pre-ring walk video plays chronicling Punk’s whole career, complete with a modern day Punk saying word-for-word his original “Straight Edge” promo from his early days.
“I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t do drugs …wrestling is my addiction.” His original hard rock WWE theme plays. After the video wraps up, we see Living Colour on stage playing Cult of Personality live. Out comes “The Best in the World” accompanied by Paul Heyman.
