AEW star Willow Nightingale recently spoke with Good Karma Wrestling about a number of topics, including wanting to compete at the Wrestle Dynasty event, which is set to take place on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, at the Tokyo Dome.
Nightingale said, “They did also just announce at Forbidden Door the Wrestle Dynasty [show] in Japan in January. That also seems like the kind of thing where it’s like I mentioned it before, our roster is stacked. We’ve got so many amazing, talented wrestlers who could take part in that. But there’s this big piece of me that’s like, I gotta be one of them though. How do I make that happen? I was the first women who while under AEW contract was going to New Japan and going to CMLL, representing our company. So for me, I’m like, ‘I need to be there.’ [Laughs]”
This event will feature talents from NJPW, AEW, CMLL, ROH and STARDOM and will be held the following night after Wrestle Kingdom 19, which is set to take place on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 also at the Tokyo Dome.
