WWE shared a short on their official WWE Vault YouTube account, unveiling an unused ECW Championship design from 2008. The unused ECW Championship design from 2008 was supposed to be for CM Punk during his run with the company at the time after The Second City Saint dropped the title to Chavo Guerrero Jr. in January 2008.
The championship design was reportedly not received well, so a different design was unveiled in July 2008.
