WWE shared a new video on its official WWE Vault YouTube account, looking back at The Iron Sheik’s historic win over Bob Backlund to win the Heavyweight Championship.
This match took place on December 26th, 1983, 41 years ago. The following month, Hulk Hogan defeated Sheik to win the WWE Championship, giving birth to Hulkamania.
