ESPN and MMA reporter Ariel Helwani tweeted the following, showing former UFC heavyweight and current light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier meeting WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts this past week. As we’ve been reporting, tonight’s UFC 249 pay-per-view event is being held in Jacksonville, FL, the site of Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings. Both the UFC fighters and AEW wrestlers were staying in the same hotel this past week and the two men ran into each other. You can check out a video of their encounter below.
As many of you know, Daniel Cormier is a huge pro wrestling fan. He trains for former WWE Superstar Cain Velasquez. Cormier will be doing commentary during tonight’s UFC 249 broadcast.
