Lee passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 41 due to a non-COVID-related lung condition, leaving a lasting legacy in the wrestling world.

During his match against Dominik Mysterio, Rollins paid tribute to his former colleague by incorporating Lee’s signature “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!” taunt into the bout, a heartfelt nod to the beloved wrestler.
