Kenny Omega is doing everything in his power to recover from many injuries and return stronger than before.
His last match was on November 13, 2021, when he lost the AEW World Championship to “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear.
Omega was recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery and was set for surgery to treat a sports hernia at the end of March, as previously reported. The recovery time for knee surgery is ten weeks, whereas the hernia surgery recovery time is two months.
On Instagram, the LifeMed Institute posted a video demonstrating their plasma treatment for joint, muscle, and tendon pain. Omega himself was the client in the video. Injections were given to his shoulder and knee.
Omega found it was too early in the recovery process to travel with his injuries, despite being backstage at recent TV appearances. Omega had intended to return to television in February, but that clearly did not happen, and no date has been determined for his return as of yet.
