Patrick Clark, formerly known as “The Velveteen Dream,” has returned to the ring.
WWE released Dream in 2021 after he was accused of making inappropriate contact with minors in 2020. He initially stated that he was working with authorities to resolve the situation, which resulted in him appearing only a few times on NXT TV, the most recent match being against Adam Cole in December 2020.
According to reports, Clark also had backstage beef with several NXT wrestlers as a result of his behavior. Dream was also accused of filming fellow wrestlers in the bathroom without their permission, in addition to his arrests, accusations of recklessness during matches, wellness violations, and other issues.
Dream previously posted an apology video on Instagram, pleading with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, fans, and the company to forgive him for his previous issues.
On Saturday, he returned to wrestling at Dynasty in New York. The former WWE star interrupted the first match and issued an open challenge.
