As noted, former DPW Champion Jay Malachi made his WWE in-ring debut, working a match against Brooks Jensen taped for this week’s NXT Level Up prior to the post-Vengeance Day 2024 episode of WWE NXT on Tuesday night.
The pro wrestling prospect participated in a tryout at the WWE Performance Center in October, was subsequently given an offer from the company, and was expected to relocate to Orlando, FL. to begin training last month. He has since signed the deal and has been given the ring name of Je’Von Evans.
On Tuesday, February 6, the day he worked his in-ring debut, WWE filed to trademark the ring name “Je’Von Evans” for Malachi with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
