Vince McMahon announced his retirement this summer, following allegations that he agreed to pay millions of dollars in hush money to women over a 16-year period.
As PWMania.com previously reported, a new article about Vince McMahon was published by Joe Palazzolo of the Wall Street Journal, and he tweeted the following:
“Ex-WWE CEO Vince McMahon has told people that he intends to make a comeback; that he received bad advice from people close to him to step down amid a sexual-misconduct investigation; and that the allegations would have blown over had he stayed.”
Regarding the story, Louis Dangoor of GiveMeSport.com tweeted the following:
“Vince McMahon may want to return to WWE, but it’s not as simple as that. People I’ve spoken to say the new management team considers him to be ‘fully done’ following his retirement in July. The new leadership team are also aware that morale is MASSIVELY up now he’s gone.”
