The Young Bucks appeared at the end of the AEW Dynamite episode on January 10th, 2024. A match between the Bucks and Sting and Darby Allin was teased for Sting’s retirement at the 2023 AEW Revolution PPV.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com has provided an update on the match plans.
Meltzer stated, “Sting, at 64, handpicked the Young Bucks as his opponents for he and Darby Allin, and based on television this week, it would appear that the AEW tag team titles will end up part of the storyline. While not official, it should become the first AEW PPV show where the tag team titles were in the main event.”
As of January 17th, Revolution has 15,393 tickets distributed in Greensboro, NC and is expected to be a complete sell-out.
