Update On Live Broadcast Of AEW All In: Texas On Max

As part of the new multi-year multimedia rights agreement between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery, AEW will transfer its library, which includes PPV and TV episodes, to the streaming platform.

That begins in January. The deal is worth $555 million over three years, excluding earnings from PPV events. AEW pay-per-views will be accessible on Max at a subsidized rate later in 2025.

At the AEW All In: Texas on-sale countdown event, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that the concert would be streamed on Max. Dave Meltzer, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, mentioned that Max still lacks the ability to broadcast live pay-per-view events. That may change by July, but it is not currently intended to air live on Max.

Meltzer stated, “So there was something that’s been misinterpreted because I saw it everywhere, and as soon as I saw it, first of all, watching it, it was never said. And number two, I knew that it isn’t right because it’s one of these things I’ve been paying attention to. So he kept pushing that they are going to Max in January, which they’re going to Max in January. Rampage, it’s gone. But Collision and Dynamite go first week of January every single show. So you know, that’s the deal. He did not say that All In was going to be on Max. All In will be on Max if Max has pay-per-view capabilities by July 12th. We don’t know the timetable. Nobody knows the timetable. You know, you could ask questions. The reality is it will be ready when it’s ready. Tony did not say that. He made it very clear that he did not say that it would be on, it could be, you know, but it depends on how quick it moves.”
