Given that All Elite Wrestling will be debuting a second weekly two-hour television program on Saturday night called AEW Collision, there has been some speculation about what the company will do with its Rampage program.
The returning CM Punk will serve as the focal point of the upcoming TNT television program, which is set to premiere on June 17th, 2023. As PWMania.com previously reported, another major talent debut or return is expected for AEW Collision’s premiere episode.
Up until this week, AEW broadcast Rampage, a weekly one-hour broadcast on TNT, and Dynamite, a two-hour program every Wednesday night on TBS. Additionally, they had the streaming versions of Dark and Dark: Elevation, though Elevation appears to have been discontinued after FITE promoted this week’s episode as the last one.
Regarding Dark: Elevation’s future, AEW has not provided any confirmation.
According to Dave Meltzer’s report in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW’s current strategy is to continue airing Rampage and possibly tape it after Dynamite.
Meltzer wrote, “What we have confirmed is that TNT will continue to air Rampage on Friday nights for one hour.”
