There are still some unanswered questions regarding the recently signed multi-year multimedia rights agreement between Warner Bros. Discovery and AEW. The deal is worth $555 million over three years, excluding revenue from PPV events.
As previously stated, AEW pay-per-views will be available on Max later in 2025 at a reduced cost per event. Dynamite and Collision will stay on TBS and TNT.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that the AEW pay-per-view library will be available on MAX. Still, it will not be added on January 1st, like previous AEW TV episodes.
Meltzer stated, “It was about the AEW TV deal. Will the PPV library go up on MAX? The answer is yes. It may not all be up immediately. All the AEW archives will be up on MAX next year. They go to MAX January 1st, and it’s not instantly. All these episodes of Dynamite and Rampage and Collision will be up on MAX. They will be slowly rolled out, as will the pay-per-views. In time, the entire library will be on MAX.”
