Two Matches Made Official For Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series Event

Last week’s post-Crown Jewel episode of WWE SmackDown saw Santos Escobar attack WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and leave the remaining members of the LWO high and dry at ringside. Friday’s SmackDown then saw Escobar explain his actions, resume his attack on the LWO and back away from Carlito.

Shortly following the segment, it was announced that Santos Escobar will face Carlito in a one-on-one match at Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series Event.

The opening segment of SmackDown saw Damage CTRL (Bayley, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, Asuka and Dakota Kai) declare that the group is too much for anyone to deal with at WarGames, which brought out Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair and Shotzi.

Damage CTRL then told Flair, Belair and Shotzi that they need to find a partner for WarGames, but the group kept on attacking anyone backstage who was a possible fourth member of the babyface team, which includes Michin and Zelina Vega. WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then told Flair, Belair and Shotzi that they had until the end of the night to find a partner for the match.

“The Man” Becky Lynch was then announced as the fourth member of the babyface team and the match will now take place at Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series Event from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
