“The Ring General” made history this week.
As noted, GUNTHER has moved into the number one spot on the list of all-time longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champions.
The Imperium leader passed the mark with his victory over Chad Gable on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
On Thursday, WWE and Triple H posted a special graphic and commented on GUNTHER making history with his current WWE Intercontinental Championship reign.
WWE’s post simply read, “History made,” as well as the aforementioned graphic.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque chimed in with the same graphic and wrote, “Defining his own legacy. And this is just the beginning… Congratulations to GUNTHER on making history as the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion EVER.”
