In an interview with Alex McCarthy of talksport.com, Triple H addressed the rumors about Enzo Amore and Big Cass possibly returning to WWE:
“I immediately told our PR to shoot down the Enzo and Cass rumors. Absolutely zero interest. Congratulations to Enzo, I’m sure spreading rumors is working well for him but I want no part of it.”
Triple H also shot down Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com’s theory that Vince McMahon will be more involved in NXT now that the brand is on the USA Network:
“Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of things that people like Dave say don’t make sense. In simple terms, he won’t be involved.”
