As PWMania.com previously reported, AEW star Trent Beretta is said to be dealing with an undisclosed injury that will result in him being out of in-ring action for quite some time while he recovers.
Beretta recently took to his official Twitter (X) account and provided an update on his injury.
Beretta wrote, “Quick little american neck surgery. turns out I wrestled so hard that two of the screws from my neck fusion broke. very cool. very tough. screws have been replaced. next I will be doing revenge.”
Beretta last appeared for AEW on the July 13 edition of Collision, where he was brutally attacked by Orange Cassidy with a wrench, an angle that was done for him to be taken out of television. There is no word yet on how long Beretta will be out of in-ring action, but updates will be provided once it becomes available.
He recently aligned with Don Callis and the Don Callis family after betraying Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy.
