During Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, multiple stars officially declared their entry into the upcoming Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
AEW TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné picked up a dominant win over Robyn Renegade in a non-title bout. Following the match, Moné made it clear she’s not done collecting championships, announcing her participation in the tournament. She didn’t hold back either, taking verbal shots at both Billie Starkz and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena, after it was revealed that Starkz had also entered the tournament.
Later in the night, Athena fired back with a backstage promo of her own, officially throwing her name into the mix as well.
Additionally, Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa, and Jamie Hayter each announced their tournament entries in separate backstage segments, further stacking an already loaded field.
