Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com is reporting that AEW has reached a deal with former WCW and WWE announcer Tony Schiavone.
Last month, there were rumors that Schiavone was going to sign with AEW when he appeared in an AEW video. However, Major League Wrestling revealed that Schiavone is under contract and cannot sign with AEW. Court Bauer had noted the following:
“Unless AEW elects to reach out, Tony Schiavone cannot proceed with AEW or any other company doing anything. I was unaware of him doing the digital stuff until I read it in this week’s Observer.”
MLW responded to the latest report with the following:
