Tony Khan and Case Lowe of Brian & Kenzie on Q101 discussed AEW, Saturday’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view, and AEW Dynamite/Collision’s November 27 return to Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
One of the numerous topics touched throughout the discussion was AEW’s cooperation with CMLL. When asked about the possibility of AEW running shows in Mexico, Khan stated:
“I can’t wait eventually to bring AEW for the first time ever to Mexico.”
Khan on if there are plans for that to happen:
“I have never said so but I will say sooner or later, it absolutely has to happen. If I can go anywhere in Mexico and work with anyone in Mexico, I’d love to go to Arena Mexico and work with CMLL and bring AEW there for the first time ever. It would be amazing. I think [CMLL owner Salvador Lutteroth III] would be open to having us there. If he would have us, it would be an honor to go to Arena Mexico and bring AEW there sometime.”
