Tony Khan On If WWE Reached Out About Jon Moxley Making An Appearance At WrestleMania 40

The main event of WrestleMania 40 Sunday saw “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes in a Bloodline Rules Match. A number of stars and legends interfered in the match, with the stipulation being anything goes. One of the stars that appeared was former World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

Rollins made his way out using the Shield’s entrance theme and donning his old Shield attire, but the fans expected AEW star Jon Moxley to show up as well despite being under contract to a rival company since he is one of the former members of the faction.

AEW President Tony Khan spoke with Comicbook’s Liam Crowley on if WWE reached out to him about Moxley making an appearance at WrestleMania 40.

According to Khan, WWE did not reach out at all about using Moxley for the WrestleMania 40 main event.
