Tony Khan has never met or spoken to Shane McMahon is his entire life.
That was the first quote when the AEW President was asked about rumors of Shane-O-Mac talking to wrestlers on the AEW roster.
In a new interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Khan reiterated this point, but was quick to add that Shane is “always welcome in AEW.”
“I heard the rumor he might be interested,” Khan said. “I’ve never met Shane, but we have a lot of mutual friends. I have a lot of respect for him as an executive and a professional wrestler.”
He added, “Shane is always welcome in AEW.”
