AEW personality Tony Schiavone and Conrad Thompson recently spoke on their “What Happened When” podcast about a variety of professional wrestling topics including being in the ring with Ric Flair on AEW Dynamite:

“It was a special moment for me. It really was. I thought about it and Tony Khan talked to me about the 35 years ago where Sting and Flair each had that magic Clash of the Champions which was in Greensboro, the same day as WrestleMania. It was kind of the receipt from Jim Crockett for what Vince McMahon did to Starrcade of 87. It got me thinking about my career and it got me thinking about my relationship with Sting and especially Flair, and it was a very special moment for me and I think my introduction of all of that in the ring that night was pretty genuine, and so yeah, it was pretty cool. I really enjoyed it. It was a very enjoyable moment for me and I was honored to be a part of it.”

On Toni Storm laying on the announce table in front of him on AEW Collision:

“Well, I knew that Toni was going to do something on the table. I thought she was just going to sit on the table, but she yanked the top off and stared at me and then just laid right on the table with her rear end right here in my face. So now I’ve got a girl’s rear end of my face and I’ve got to play it straight. Then she takes an orange, she had two oranges, right? She flipped me one if I recall or handed me one. I ended up with one. Then she bit the other orange. She bit right into it real hard right there, boom, and orange juice squirted in my face. I took that orange and lobbed it over towards Dasha’s lap when we went to a break.”
