On Monday night’s RAW 30th Anniversary special, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker shared a “special, defining” moment with Bray Wyatt.

LA Knight appeared on RAW to promote Saturday’s inaugural Pitch Black match against Bray Wyatt at the WWE Royal Rumble. Knight discussed how Wyatt and the other WWE Legends backstage were living in the past. Knight then challenged any WWE Legend in the back with “enough tingle in his loins” to come out and watch a preview of the Pitch Black match.

As Taker’s legendary theme music began to play, the lights dimmed and the bells began to ring. As Taker rode his Harley Davidson motorcycle to the ring, the theme changed to Taker’s American Badass theme. Fans cheered as Taker entered the ring and posed. Knight requested that the music be turned off because he’d had enough.

Knight mentioned Taker’s 2021 Joe Rogan interview, in which he stated that the locker room is soft. Knight agreed and stated that Wyatt is at the top of the soft list, but if Taker believes Knight is also on the list, someone misled him. Knight then mocked Taker, pointing to a headline they could come up with together: LA Knight Sends The Undertaker To The Undertaker.

Taker began pacing around the ring, but Knight said he would give Taker a pass, allowing him to live out his retirement and enjoy his family. Knight only had one request: that Taker watch the Pitch Black match on Saturday because LA will be the new Lord of Darkness. Knight continued to hype himself until the lights went out, at which point Wyatt made his entrance.

As Taker watched from the ring, Knight was startled at ringside as Wyatt walked down with his lantern. When Knight returned to the ring, Taker grabbed him by the throat. When Wyatt stepped onto the apron, Taker looked at Knight, then at Wyatt. When Wyatt entered the ring, Taker shoved Knight by the throat, right into a Sister Abigail. The crowd began chanting “holy shit!” as Wyatt stood up from the mat and stared at Taker.

After that, Taker and Wyatt exchanged a brief staredown. Taker walked past Wyatt on his way out of the ring, but stopped and said something in his ear that we couldn’t hear. As Taker exited the ring, Wyatt nodded his head. The American Badass theme began to play again as Taker drove the Harley up the ramp, pausing to raise his fist as lightning struck.

After the segment, Taker took to Twitter and commented.

“Moments define this industry. This one was special!,” he wrote.

As of this writing, Wyatt had not responded to the segment.

Taker’s RAW 30 segment was pitched as a “passing of the torch,” but no other details were provided, and it’s unclear if that’s the direction they went with.
