Your new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions are the Jetsetters.
The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles were captured by KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight in the co-main event of Thursday’s NJPW Road to Wrestling Dontaku event, as they defeated Catch 2/2’s TJP and Francesco Akira. KUSHIDA and Knight hit Akira with a Kulture Klash, then Knight covered for the pin.
This is KUSHIDA and Knight’s first title reign together, but KUSHIDA has previously held the belts with Alex Shelley. TJP and Akira began their first reign together on June 20, 2022, at the New Japan Road event, and held the straps for 310 days.
