Swerve Strickland is not joining any Booker T fan-clubs anytime soon.
Following the AEW Dynasty 2025 pay-per-view, which saw him come up short in his attempt to recapture the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley in the main event due to interference from The Young Bucks, Swerve Strickland hung around for a post-show promo.
During the promo, Swerve wrapped things up by taking a shot at WWE NXT color-commentator and WWE Hall of Fame legend Booker T.

13, very long years ago, I took my career to the next level by traveling all the way up from Lancaster, Pennsylvania all the way to this great city right here, Philadelphia and that’s where my career really skyrocketed.
