AEW taped Saturday’s Collision episode, which will air on TNT after Dynamite, at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, where the first match of the upcoming Dynasty event was teased.
On this week’s Dynamite, Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson teased a showdown after Ospreay defeated Kyle Fletcher. After Ospreay won the match, Danielson confronted him, teasing the upcoming match. AEW featured the Dynasty PPV date in the background.
As PWMania.com previously stated, this has been AEW President Tony Khan’s dream match and something he has long wanted to do.
At Collision, it was confirmed that Danielson vs. Ospreay would take place on Sunday, April 21st, in St. Louis, Missouri. On the show, Danielson defeated Shane Taylor using the busaiku knee.
Ospreay entered the ring following the bout. Danielson challenged Ospreay to a match at the Dynasty pay-per-view, which he accepted.
