Speculation regarding Stephanie McMahon’s potential return to TKO has begun since Vince McMahon abruptly left the company and resigned from all of his positions, including Executive Chairman and Board of Directors.
Stephanie announced a year ago that she was no longer with the company in an executive role, having resigned as WWE’s Chairwoman and co-CEO, after Vince voted himself back to the Board of Directors before agreeing to be acquired by Endeavor, which has since merged with the UFC to form the TKO Holdings Group.
Stephanie previously announced in the summer of 2022 that she would be taking a leave of absence from WWE, only to return after Vince’s hush money scandal broke and he resigned from his WWE duties.
When Stephanie announced her second departure, the story in WWE was that she knew it was only a matter of time before she was demoted after Vince returned. She left because she didn’t need the money or the job, especially since she had already decided to leave months ago.
Following allegations against Vince by a former WWE employee, some believe she may have heard only some of the horrific allegations, prompting her to leave.
According to PWInsider, there is hope that Stephanie will return to the company now that her father is gone. However, it is unclear how she would fit into Endeavor’s new ownership structure.
