A fan got involved in a singles match between Skye Blue and Rachael Ellering on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which was an unfortunate event. As events unfolded outside the ring, a fan allegedly began making inappropriate and offensive remarks about Blue.
A nearby fan confirmed that the comments were made, prompting Skye to confront the fan, calling them a “pervert” and an “a**hole” before telling them to “f*** off.” AEW referee Aubrey Edwards instructed security to intervene and speak with the fan.
The fan was ejected from the arena after security spoke with them. Saraya had already mentioned earlier in the night that some ringside fans were behaving inappropriately, referring to them as “creeps.”
Blue took to Twitter to express her gratitude for the outpouring of support following the incident. She wrote:
“I’m beyond overwhelmed with all the love and support. Thank you everyone you have no idea how much it’s appreciated. Let’s make sure the future generations of women wrestlers don’t have to deal with this shit.”
It’s worth noting that the AEW has a pre-show policy that expressly prohibits discriminatory or harassing behavior toward performers or other fans.
