As a result of Hurricane Ian, a number of AEW stars will be absent from tonight’s episode of Dynamite. It was previously mentioned by AEW President Tony Khan that the talent would not be required to travel to the show.
Western Florida is experiencing mandatory evacuations as a result of the hurricane. The hurricane will bring at least tropical-storm-force winds to millions of people. Residents of Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee are included in this category.
The state of Florida is home to a significant number of AEW and WWE wrestlers. Due to the hurricane, WWE had to postpone the NXT shows that were scheduled for this weekend.
GRAPSODY’s host on Fightful.com, Will Washington, pointed out that certain AEW stars won’t be able to make it to tonight’s show:
A few prominent performers who reside in Florida won't be at Dynamite/Rampage today.
Just hoping everyone stays safe out there.
