For two editions of Dynamite, AEW will be missing some of its stars.
On Wednesday, December 28, All Elite Wrestling will hold a special New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. A TNT Title match between Samoa Joe and Wardlow was previously announced for the show.
FTR, Sammy Guevara, and Tay Conti won’t be featured as they are performing for AAA in Acapulco that night.
FTR are the AAA World Tag Team Champions and Guevara & Melo are the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions.
Some stars will also be missing from the January 4 edition of Dynamite, including FTR and Kenny Omega in Seattle.
At Wrestle Kingdom 17, Omega will defend his IWGP United States Heavyweight Title against Will Ospreay inside the Tokyo Dome, while FTR will defend their IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI.
