Samoa Joe is not only “The King of Television,” but he’s among the kings of the Television Championship lineage in Ring Of Honor.
The longtime pro wrestling star has surpassed 472 days as champion, besting Dragon Lee’s 2019-2021 reign that lasted 469 days.
This now makes Samoa Joe the second-longest ROH TV Champion in company-history, trailing only Jay Lethal, who has the record for the longest reign in ROH TV Championship history with a 567-day reign that lasted from April 2014 through October 2015.
Joe’s reign began back in April of 2022 when he defeated Minoru Suzuki on AEW Dynamite to capture the ROH Television Championship, which he has defended 13 times in that timespan.
