The main event of this week’s NXT Great American Bash Week 1 special saw WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez successfully defend her title against Chase U’s Thea Hail. Shortly after her huge win, Perez appeared in a digital exclusive to talk about several topics including her win and how she is now the best in the world.
Perez said, “I’ll give Thea respect because she almost had me there.” “But realistically, everybody needs to stop worrying about everybody else around the world. Not a Thea, not a Giulia, not a Stephanie. NXT is the best women’s division in the world, and this [title] is on my shoulder, which means I am the best woman in the world.”
